Seeing the future in your smile

 I love your smile, as the starting point of the laugh

that radiates energy like a newborn sun,

a supernova of happiness and light.

I love your laugh,

loud and full,

genuine and wholesome.

I loved it since the first time I heard and saw it,

how you open your mouth completely,

opening to the universe,

tilting your head backward

and letting your gorgeous hair go lushing freely.

I love your smile so much

that I am afraid I will hate it someday,

I will find it annoying 

and it won't be merry anymore for me.

But love is such a beautiful feeling,

"the best in the world" they said,

so I might need to face my fears,

Look at potential trauma in the face and

just surrender to that heavenly laugh.

I only date superheros

 A shy library boy who might have well been a version of Spiderman,

with big green eyes full of kindness and compassion,

He was my first superhero, until I got bored when he didn't develop any spidey senses.

Then I got a little version of Captain (Sud) America,

again clear green eyes and blood here,

an extremely tight ass and a super fit body,

he had survived extreme medical conditions and experiments,

but I couldn't survive his emotional manipulation.

A less refined version of TChalla got me dancing around with his passion,

all muscular and full on everything, too full on himself 

he was quickly gone with the wind or the snitch of the fingers.

Superman came along, with his personality disorder and the bluest eyes in town,

geeky and fun, he just took me to the sky and then crashed my expectations.

Previous trauma and commitment were his kryptonite.

He-man certainly got the power, the power to make me melt

and be eager to make him laugh again,

to dance on his arms and follow his lead, smoothing into his intelligence.

But kissing him was like kissing the walls of Greyskall.

Wolverine came to rescue me plus all his past traumas 

and being worried about existing,

he tried, he really tried,

but his lack of self-esteem and the sadness in his eyes burnt my interest.

But the end game was for them to get my attention and time 

and they all took something from me,

I made them better humans, maybe taking the superhero part away.

Although they are superhero-alike

they all lack the superpower to keep me around.

And suddenly, when all hope was almost lost,

a real-life hero, an Iron Man type, Mr incredible you might call him,

came to the rescue of someone who just needed to be reminded that

you don't need to be rescued, but you can choose to be if you like it.

This Iron Man crossover with William Wallace and GI Joe is a dream come true.

he has the wits, the blue steel eyes, the fun, the dance moves, the caring,

the vibes, the romantic wording, and the passionate kissing

that can make you feel like an iron maiden.

each on a path to improvement and adventure,

crossing their lives to share passion.

Trying to understand why someone didn't chose you

Your value is not given by other's appreciation,

however if it would be by their attention,

you will be a millionaire

but there is something there, inside,

that takes the appreciation away,

and they lose interest with time.

I wish I could help you to understand,

why someone didn't choose you,

why did they let you go,

why did they cheat on you?

it is maybe the wall you build around you,

to protect yourself,

to not accumulate more traumas,

to defend the sanity that you work so hard to keep,

to not feel pain again.

Just your smile

 I tend to say silly things and make weird connections,

and when they make you smile,

your shininess makes me bright as well.

Your smile is like the sun giving away warm and caring,

the features of your gorgeous face just get enlightened,

like a cozy hug and a time-stopper.

Making you laugh is my mission and the only thing I want,

it turned into an obsession and love crash,

just your smile for breakfast, lunch and dinner,

to sing a lullaby for me and put me to bed.

Just your smile, born from happiness,

Like Afrodita coming out all radiance from the shell and the foam,

just your smile is what makes the world more beautiful.

Superman

You were supposed to be my savior,

You said you will always be there for me

And you will bring me coffee to bed every morning 

And tea on a cold night.

Your blue eyes once I saw green,

Changed as often as your kindness,

Your kryptonite was attachment,

And your superpower was to make me feel butterflies in my stomach again.

Your superhero landing always took me by surprise,

Appearing at most unexpected moments,

Rocking the (my) world and saving the (my) day.

Muse

 From a shiny smile to bronze skin,

you were my muse to work on me more

to be better, fitter, and smoother.

I want you to know me better

 I wonder if you are my “happy ending”,

My forever and ever,

My prince enchanting

Me forever.

You claimed you wanted me to know you better,

And that I was already perfect,

This is so suspended as a blank letter,

Producing a stupefaction effect.

Are you my promised one?

The one I was waiting for

Or will all these be another ninja smog bomb

That will explode when I least expect it.

Proceed with caution

 I blocked the entrance of my castle,

and I ran upstairs to the highest tower,

I admired life from here and it was great, 

the blue skies, the rainbows and the green hills.

I didn't let anyone in, I blocked any possibility,

but there you were, trying again and again,

asking me to let you in,

to go for a test run.

it is not you, it is my past trauma,

it is not that I am scared of you hurting me,

It is more that I don't want to hurt anyone,

because I hurt the person I cared about the most,

and the wound is still fresh and bleeding.

You saw my clean face, without makeup,

with my huge pores, more prominent than my flat,

with old clothes and even sick,

and you still wanted me.

When I was hiding from the rest, and rejecting any attention,

you gently waited, and shared your warmth and kindness.

But I must advise you to proceed with caution.

Four decades to catch up

 So much to tell you,

so much to share

a full world for you

a lot to dare.

All my memories,

all my experiences,

I want to open these experiences,

being vulnerable in this instance.

I have four decades to catch up with you

to fill in the gaps

and find the blanks with you

and turn our story into a win

Adulting 101

 I want to go out and play,

enjoy the sun and run without any lower back and knee pains.

I don't want to worry about the future and what it may...

I want to enjoy getting wet and trapped in the rain.

Freedom of childhood brings melancholia back,

dreams of a better future and complete trust in my strength.

There was a time when I flew high,

with no fears, not chains, only the sky at length.

Now a mortgage is a constant issue,

the inflation is breathing on my neck,

overcommitting and admin stuff are drowning me.

Allegiance to be human

 I pledge Allegiance to me,

to my values and my care.

I pledge allegiance to the people I love and love me back.

I also pledge allegiance to fight for social justice.

One person can make a difference,

as long as they pledge the proper allegiance.

In a world full of noise and false gold

that gives smoked power

exchanged by lack of values and 

temporal happiness.

I pledge allegiance to always support the ones who fight for justice

and equality.

I pledge allegiance to mother earth who provides for all of us,

and not the ones who tried to destroy her for profit.

We are all just one alliance, one energy transmuting from here to there

and back, pledging allegiance to the flow.

They will always be there

 Your thoughts, your friends, the coffee beans,

They will always be there.

The sun hiding behind the clouds,

Or burn you alive in a full-blown,

It will always be there.

Always, I meant in your life span,

Because that yellow dot will turn into a blues dwarf.

Books, shows, impactful art,

They will always be there for you to cheer you up.

You can’t escape being you.

 You come into my life,

you leave, I exit you,

you try to come back as a friend,

exit again, in and out...

And 15 years passed since we first crossed paths,

since you seduced me and I drove you crazy.

Since we shared music and hot air,

fantasies and carcasses.

You gain weight and lose energy,

I calmed down and expected nothing.

You are a successful business man now,

almost on the verge of retirement,

but I am about to access the higher steps in my career ladder.

So different, but so full of passion.

Dancing can lead to kissing,

and I don't want to be another tick on your list,

you won't check me out,

you won't have a done emoji next to my name.

while you keep pushing your luck,

and our bodies next to each other,

I have to keep  my fake smile,

keep smiling and pretending all was good.

I know your game,

the gamer who gambles,

and always wins.

The more I know you, the less I like you

everything is a game for you

to probe that you are better than the rest

that you deserve the best.

The more you expose your natural person

the more the darkness filters

through the cracks of your intentions

the more and more I lost interest.

The real you is unkind,

not the type of person I want to have a round,

I am done wasting my energy 

in your judgments and negativity.
